Well ... haiku is a form of poetry and when it comes to form you cannot break it's spirit or rule or form ... else it is not haiku ... but may be it could still be poetry ... haiku instances happen ... cheers
just to add ... I am not worried about the 5-7-5 syllable / 3 line form of haiku ... I am more concerned about the spirit of haiku ... the ones you have written kave already been written ... good try anyways but better luck next time ... cheers again :)

To me, Haiku is whatever I refer to and understand as Haiku....
Also one can say that there are certain rules for writing poetry, but in my head there are no hard and fast rules for writing poetry...Cheers!
